Abuja, Nigeria -  Nigerian football star, Kayode Olanrewaju, has filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against UK-based Pastor, Tobi Adegboyega, for alleged emotional trauma, financial loss, and loss of goodwill. Olanrewaju also seeks an official divorce from his estranged wife, Dora Ezinne, citing infidelity, financial misconduct, and family fallout.

The lawsuit, filed at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja, alleges that Ezinne had an adulterous affair with Pastor Adegboyega, leading to the breakdown of their marriage. Olanrewaju claims that his wife's relationship with the pastor has been ongoing and public, causing him emotional distress and financial loss.

The footballer also alleges that his wife diverted funds from their joint business ventures and misappropriated rental proceeds from properties he purchased. He accuses her of living an extravagant lifestyle and abusing alcohol, contributing to the deterioration of their marriage.

Olanrewaju seeks ₦1 billion in damages and custody of their children, citing his estranged wife's inability to be a good role model. The suit has been adjourned to September 24th, 2024, for a hearing.
