The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has announced the official squad numbers for the Super Falcons' 18-player roster for the 2024 Olympic Games. Asisat Oshoala, the team's talismanic forward, will wear the number 8 shirt, while dependable goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie will don the number 16 jersey.

Christy Ucheibe, the Benfica of Portugal star, has been handed the prestigious number 10 shirt, while Russia-based forward Chukwunonye Macleans will wear the number 9 shirt. Nicole Payne, who replaced the injured Ashleigh Plumptre, will wear the number 4 jersey, previously worn by Plumptre.

Captain Rasheedat Ajibade will stick with her familiar number 15 shirt, while Toni Payne will keep her number 7 jersey. Other squad numbers include Osinachi Ohale (3), Tosin Demehin (14), Jennifer Echegini (11), and Uchenna Kanu (14).

The Super Falcons will begin their Olympic campaign against Brazil at the Stade Bordeaux on Thursday, followed by matches against world champions Spain and Japan in the same group. Coach Randy Waldrum's side will be looking to make a strong impact in the tournament.
