The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, has appealed to Nigerians to end the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest and engage in dialogue. In a statement issued by the Secretary-General of the Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Prof. Khalid Aliyu, the Sultan called for an end to the "snowballing rampage" and emphasized the need for a stable country.

He urged Jumu'ah mosque Imams and Muslim leaders to calm nerves and promote peace during Friday's congregational prayers. The Sultan also encouraged Nigerians to continue praying for Allah's intervention in the country's current situation.
