President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria is scheduled to depart Abuja for Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on Wednesday for a three-day official visit. The trip is in response to an invitation extended by President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea. 

This development was confirmed by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity. Upon his arrival in Malabo, President Tinubu is expected to engage in discussions with President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa. Key agenda items for these discussions include the signing of significant agreements, primarily focused on the sectors of oil and gas, as well as security collaboration between the two nations.

Accompanying President Tinubu on this diplomatic mission will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, along with other members of his cabinet. These officials are set to play pivotal roles in the signing of agreements and exploring avenues to enhance bilateral relations between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea. 

This visit underscores Nigeria's commitment to fostering international partnerships and expanding cooperation with its West African neighbors.
